Damn not a Sunday for Ben Shelton and #TrinityRodman to remember.

- #WashingtonSpirit suffer shocking loss to #BostonLegacy in #NWSL play
- Ben Shelton loses #USOpen Men’s Singles

Ben's time will come. Foe too. But Sinner, Alcaraz and Zverev is going to be the top firm for a few years. #USOpen

The Mac brothers look insanely similar

It’s freaking me out.

Alexander Zverev is now a two-time Grand Slam champion 🏆

Zverev takes down Ben Shelton in four sets at the #USOpen to cap off a remarkable year with his second major title, following his French Open victory.

Das war ein noch schlechterer Siegesjubel als bei Rybakina. 😭😭😭 #USOpen

#Zverev breaks #Shelton serve twice in the fourth set to take the #USOpen title 6-3 7-6 5-7 6-2. It's the second Major title of his year and career. Oddly enough, he may have a shot at finishing the year number 1 depending on how Sinner performs the rest of 2026.

Zverev LoL

I have ‘never’ seen a major winner who didn’t realize ehen they’d won the match hahaha

Shelton did really well but Zverev bided his time, conserved his energy and won points/games when he needed to - not effortless but certainly in control when it mattered

#USOpen

Herzlichen Glückwunsch Alexander #Zverev zum zweiten Grand Slam Titel! Als erster deutscher Mann seit Boris Becker 1989 mit einem überragenden Turnier, einem überragenden Finale gegen Ben Shelton. #usopen #tennis

Gonna reheat Heated Rivalry for the twenty-something time to wash away the dirt from that Zverev v Shelton #USOpen final. Give me my Hollanov now.

Lol that was funny, Zverev so in the zone that he didn't even realise he'd won the tournament 🤣 #usopen

The 🇺🇲 drought continues.
Feel drained right now.
Feel nothing but sadness at the moment.
Going to turn off my 🖥 now.
Worst day to be a fan for Atlanta sports athletes or teams.
Braves lose late.
Ben Shelton gets demolished.
All I feel now is sadness.

Once again, a domestic abuser wins fame and fortune with no repercussions this time courtesy of the #usopen (and whatever the tennis org is that has ignored accusations against him)

🇩🇪 Zverev derrotó a 🇺🇸 Shelton por 6-3, 7-6 (2), 5-7 y 6-2 y conquistó el US Open 2026.
