Indeed, one did keenly feel an unfairness in one’s life. Though it would not do for it to be acknowledged; it was another “inconvenient” feeling requiring repression. For we retained, in our needs and desires at least, a knowledge of what we really wanted. And what we longed for desperately were the same things we had been having while in Nature, over the course of millions of years, which were now being denied, supremely, over the course of the last five-to-ten-thousand-some years. Eighteenth Descent — Culture The amalgamation of all these Ego tendencies — which included con- trolling traits, conforming and sycophancy tendencies, and separation from the Divine and Nature and the loss of connection to feeling or to a life lived with “felt experience” — is culture. Culture developed, in civilizations, in concert with the loss of Divine connection. It created a mesmerizing maze in which to get lost and to hide from oneself one’s lost experience of life. Culture is a weed without roots; it is the fury we create to block out our emptiness. They will call themselves “blessed,” instead. No problem there. It’s their life, right? However, this sad insanity they impose on all and everyone. Of the actual pathetic nature of their lives they know intuitively but without letting themselves think it. That is not unlike the way they handle any of the other uncomfortable truths and “inconvenient” facts of their lives, by the way. They will similarly know intuitively the climate is going to shit, that Trump is a liar. Yet they’ll concoct another fantasy — they do it “instinctively” by now — like they have already done about their monster god and their lives come of their religious upbringings, that will affirm the opposite of the truth. “Alternative facts,” again. As psychohistorians would say it, they live in a “trance state.” There is no way really to get through to them. They also know in their muscles that saying the lie out, and loudly, can help in reinforcing their precious untruths. BPM II is characterized by “no exit,” hellish feelings that are related to the situation of the fetus in late pregnancy when the confines of the womb become ever more apparent but there is as yet no indication of any possibility of relief. BPM III relates to the birth process itself, the birth struggle, which is still characterized by feelings of compression and suffering but in which there is movement and change and thus hope of relief through struggle. Why not rise and reach forth to new and inclusive thought that embraces the facts of existence, instead of a kind of thinking that requires either a psychic numbing to the avalanche of new evidence or a thick and sturdy guard against information from all but thoroughly sanctioned and sanitized, perfectly safe and riskless, or intractably bureaucratized sources? I must point out that by now many scientists, of diverse fields, have abandoned the old model long ago and, at this point, consider its inadequacy to be well-nigh common knowledge. Having been over to the new paradigm a while, they feel it to be familiar territory; they find it useful (after all!), stable, workable, and even pleasurable terrain. They await the rest of us in the adventure of splicing or merging our insights about an explanatory framework that has room for the evidence of the new techniques and sciences; and thereby blowing away the door jammed, opening it wide to the next new phase of discovery of the nature of reality that is called the scientific enterprise. It is not the goal that is crucial, authorities are not needed, one cannot do it for anyone else. It focuses on Divinity as being inherent, which means that one reaches the truth on one’s own, one is healed by surrender not by fee to a professional.

George W. Bush-League Players To set the stage, I feel it is illuminating to relate an event I vividly remember seeing on the financial news in America, on CNBC, one day, in October of 2008. This occurred as the DOW was experiencing 500 point losses in a day, unprecedented except for during the stock market crash leading to the Great Depression. One of the expert trader/commentators — a person I’d often seen on the show — was being interviewed on the floor of the actual exchange, seeming to be surrounded by evidence of the carnage. There were actual strewn papers and such, just like in the old days, as I remember it, as stocks were tumbling (again!) with such rapidity that even the old call out system was being implemented, for some reason — for certain financial instruments anyway. And there had been the confusion and the outcries, and yes, even the panic that one would expect to see in an old movie about the Stock Market Crash.
