i think knowing how the heart knife works now makes me think grace did suspect that mari was lara's true love, and she knew pushing lara too fast or directly was dangerous, but she had enough faith in them that told her snake to in case of emergency break glass on laramari

Its impact is blunted somewhat by how badly we dithered in getting here, but the "last" phone call between Lara and Mari is quite good. We're in pretty good position for a pretty standout confession coming up, which would make up for a lot. #SayonaraLara

I will say, I don't expect it to fully cook in the time we have left but I hope we do a bit more with this Monstrous Femininity angle Rowan's going in on in this ep, probably the most actually interesting idea the episode brought up. #SayonaraLara
