Pretty much all of it! I already outlined Cole and Ezra's yearning, but Sam and Max from my other novel Take It From the Top are also yearn city. They're both desperately in love, but convinced the other doesn't love them back. And I was kicking my feet writing it!

#QueerWritersChat A2: This is such a fun question because while these two spend most of the book suffering a desperate impulse to bone each other and not giving into it, it's not in a *yearning* way. There's nothing maudlin about it, nothing wistful or longing. Mostly they're pissed off about it. 😂

TugboatWIP is horror, so there IS desperation.

There might be a bit in my YA fantasy and I hope some in the sci-fi romance!💕

I don't know if I have a yearning tone, but I certainly have yearning in there

I think Savage as You drips with Hailey's yearning. Her monologues and how she speaks to others really conveys her vulnerability imo and deep need for love.

Helena's narration I find is more clinical, yet full of wrath once she understands what has to be done.
