Not sure I like the Hoffman people either.

They’re doing a good job of riding into town on their private Brinks truck and pissing off the proudest and unapologetically provincial people on the planet. #LetsGoPens

The imminent return of #LetsGoPens forward Bryan Rust means tough roster decisions.

It shows that, while roster competition is good, having too many guys worthy of spots means performance can't be justly rewarded.

And that's a problem.

Another #LetsGoPens roster move-related tidbit...

No #LetsGoPens on waivers today. So, that means one of three things:

Rust will not play tomorrow, someone will be designated injured and/or non-roster, or a trade will be made before tomorrow night's game.

Stay tuned.

Keep an eye on waivers today for the #LetsGoPens

Bryan Rust was a full participant in practice, and unless someone is placed on IR or traded before 2pm, someone will have to go on waivers in order for him to be activated.

Given line rushes/PP groups, it's probably not Koivunen.

Just woke up from a dream where Arturs Silovs scored a crazy awesome empty net goalie goal. Now I wanna see it in real life! #LetsGoPens 💚🏒🐧

It wasn't a pretty loss for the #LetsGoPens Monday, but it's only game three of 84 - and their rookie goaltender (and team philosopher) showed some flashes of brilliance.

I asked #LetsGoPens goaltender Sergei Murashov, who had an outstanding AHL playoff run last season, just how big the jump to NHL speed is for a goaltender:

"Puck's the same size, net's the same size."
