Mean green machine. A tree surgeon uses a chainsaw to hack down a hedge that had grown into a small forest at the end of a neighbour's garden this morning. Very noisy for a Saturday morning and the birds did not like it.

People often plant this variety as a quick-growing hedge and then neglect to keep it under control. This is often the result.
