Wanted to do a more dynamic piece to put to rest the fraud allegations put forth by my own brain.
The lad astride what's essentially a giant sheepdog is of the northern Magda, who've banded together in a tribal confederation in response to The Middle Kingdom's advance east & south, as such his armor is partly scavenged from Middle Kingdom soldiers.
You may be cool, but will you ever be "riding my giant dog into battle adorned in trophies from my slain imperialist foes" cool?
Anyway, love how this turned out. I'm back to the grindstone so hopefully expect more work soon.

Lashunta Word of the Week
Damae (/da.ma:e./ feminine): Damaya; a member of the Lashunta Damaya subspecies/clade; specifically, a female damaya

Within Lady Vaeol’s time period of Lashunta History, contemporaneous with Pathfinder and the Age of Lost Omens, this is the most commonly used version of the word, whereas ~Damaya/Damaea~ typically occurs only as an adjective, in reference to a thing belonging to or pertaining to a Damaya (where it must agree with the subject’s gender). The form ~Damaya~ (in the common gender) does not become a common reference until the Lashunta language of the Starfinder epoch, after Lashunta Society becomes more equitable and self-determinative.
This word is a good illustration of the long and complicated histories words often have within their languages. In Lady Vaeol’s day, ~Damae~ is almost a synonym with ~Rie~ - wife/female. It thus highlights the stereotypes present under the Damaya Matriarchy… which on that note, is forever tied to that social institution when one reads it in the Lashunta version: ~Difimae Damae~.
