Super pass from Pau Torres to set him through, brilliant movement and then composure to finish it off from Nicolas Jackson. Such a boost to see him get off the mark.
Poor goal conceded, but excellent work from Nicolas Jackson and Joao Gomes in the build-up, and Emi Buendia with the great run and finish to put us back ahead.
That's twice Wan-Bissaka hasn't been aggressive enough with his defending today. I know it's not necessarily his game but he can't let Virgili keep running at him #avfc#utv
Great driving run forward from Pau Torres to create the opening, and what a lovely finish from John McGinn. Brilliantly controlled strike into the corner.
Congratulations best manager in the whole world, Unai Emery to get nominated ballon d'or, manager of the year, fully deserve this! Giving me my best memories to be Villa fan, legend💜🩵 #utv#avfc
This talk about Goretska is pretty boring, he just training himself whole summer after WC and his body react when coming to Unais training sessions, its normal. I do think reason why Alysson get injuries is, because his body just not use to train that hard, Unai way, no look better. #utv#avfc
I hope this is starting 11 today: Suzuki Cash Lindelöf Pau Ruggeri Bouba Gomes Alysson Mcginn Hemmings Jackson
Dont mind if Mbaye start, Hemmungs deserve to be 1st teenager since Walters to start UCL/EC game, such a talent. Full backs can choose anyone. Buendia so poor against Hull. #utv#avfc
