We'll go with m'lad Peyton (as always), this time age 19, well before becoming a Sin-Eater. At this point he's joined the militias after losing Adeline; sniping for the PLA with his spotter Samir Nammour. Still human, a bit vengeful, but queerly hopeful? Wot 3 things might trap him? 🪤

A graphite sketch by me of a young Peyton Al Malick. This is during his time in the People's Liberation Army (PLA), a Druze-led militia operating in Beirut and South Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. His hair is still an undyed dark brown and has grown out a fair bit in wavy dark curls, pushed back from his face by a red military beret with a PLA pin on it. He is wearing a padded khaki winter military jacket with a hood and a red armband with the PLA Insignia on it. Around his neck is a fairly new pale blue neckerchief, the same colour as his spotter, Samir's eyes. He's got his trusty Steyr SSG-69 sniper rifle on a strap slung over his back.
