Aleksandr Pliushchenko (🇦🇿) did much better here in Batumi than he did in Ankara last week.
And nuts when I say this... has the looks of his father but skating skills close to that of Ilia Malinin.
Sometime in the future, Aleksandr is going to be a top star.

Nice short program from Makar Nikolaev (🇬🇪).
It's something to see many who were born in other countries represent a nation like 🇬🇪.
Anyway, much potential in him.
Could become a medal contender years later should he choose to continue beyond the junior ranks.

Sena looking at the scores like "Am I dreaming?".
No, Takahashi, you are not dreaming.
86.19... near the levels both Lev Lazarev and Yanhao Li (🇳🇿) are at right now.
Should he qualify for the #JGPFigure, going to be 1 competitive final regardless of who wins.

Score going to change a second time.
Despite missing the beginning, fantastic short program from Sena Takahashi (🇯🇵).
Thinking he's go past 85 with only 1 group to go.
BTW, Men's short in Batumi much better than Ankara.
#JGPFigure

Sena's shoelaces are giving me anxiety #JGPFigure

Henry Gao's (🇺🇲) was going good until that fall on the Lutz.
Could've been in the 70s if not for the fall.
Be interesting to see where he'll place when this short program for the men in Batumi ends.
#JGPFigure

🇺🇲 single skaters this season in #JGPFigure have not done well enough and I fear that come Gdansk, could be the first time in a while where no single skater will medal at even 1 of the 7 events or even qualify for the final.
😬

Ean's eyes when he saw that score was off the charts.
First skater to hit 80 since Bangkok.
No 1 hit 80 in Ankara last week.
3 more groups to go in Batumi with Ean Weiler (🇨🇭) in the lead.
#JGPFigure

Think we're going to have a new leader in Batumi, 🇬🇪.
An amazing short program from Ean Weiler (🇨🇭) who just turned 19 a few weeks ago.
Lover every element of it.
#JGPFigure

Leon Rojkov (🇩🇪)... starts with a fall on his attempted triple axel and ends with a fall on his combination spin.
The axel was way off whereas his spin... just tripped for going so fast.
Laughing at the second mistake.
🙏🏾 for less mistakes in the free 2morrow.

About the short program for Deyan Mihaylov (🇧🇬)...🤨... was expecting the version of "One Way or Another" that I'm used to, not the 1 he selected.
Could barely even get into it or his program because I wasn't familiar with this version.
Didn't even know there were 2 versions.
#JGPFigure

Zihao Harvey Zhou (🇭🇰) went for broke in the short program.
Going for a triple-triple instead of a triple-double is something especially with how young he is.
He has much potential and if we see him in future events, that potential with explode with magnificence.
#JGPFigure

Patrick Blackwell (🇺🇲)... couldn't hear his music for 90 seconds despite how good he went, despite messing up his triple axel.
Can say with full confidence, better than Xi'an but with how that axel went... won't be in the lead.
Good short nonetheless.
#JGPFigure

To me, 77.24... good score for Denis but I would've had it around 80-81.
Those judges though... 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Finished the Free Dance from Bangkok around 2 AM but... couldn't sleep so listened to The Monkees while awaiting the Junior Men's short from Batumi and... 🤯... what a start.
Denis Krouglov (🇧🇪)... totally 4got about him.
Amazing short though I believe it should've been 80.

Now... I had planned to do the Free Dance from Bangkok as I'm still catching up on events from #JGPFigure for both the Women and the Ice Dance.
Be doing the Free Dance from Bangkok on Wednesday and then... need to check the Batumi schedule to see when the Men will be on.
