No goals scored since Lavelle got hurt... #GothamFC

The Washington Spirit recently went through a four game stretch where they looked uncharacteristically poor with many suggesting the packed schedule and travel played a big role. I worry Gotham may now be going through something similar. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Shaw now comes off after a bruising day, replaced by Kitahata. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Shaw was again on the end of a physical, but clean, challenge in the build up to that goal and she’s stayed down and is receiving treatment. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Denver scoring against the run of play, officially our new bogey team 🤦🏾 #GothamFC

2-0 to Denver. Olivia Thomas gets her second of the season. A nice finish from the rookie to get it first past Davidson then under Berger. That might be it for Gotham and their 10 game unbeaten run. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Another Gotham sub sees Taryn Torres replace Guro Reiten. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Another hard foul on Shaw, who has been in the wars this afternoon. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Double sub for Gotham sees Speck and McCaskill come in for O’Sullivan and Bruninha. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Shortly after a Purce cross finds Reiten whose shot goes wide of goal. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Kerr gets in behind, but Asman stands tall and makes the save. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Despite Gotham growing into the game late in the 1st half, Denver have been the better team for most of this game and probably deserve to have the lead in this one. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

🇺🇸 #NWSL:

GOAL!!!

Yuzuki Yamamoto puts #DenverSummit 1-0 up over leaders #GothamFC!

1-0 to Denver in the 50th minute. A giveaway from Carter on the top of the box eventually gets to Ayo Oke on the right. She puts in a great cross that Yuzuki Yamamoto is able to get by Berger. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Looks like a straight sub with Boade assuming Dudley’s spot on the right-wing. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

1 halftime sub sees Tess Boade make her Gotham FC debut, replacing Jordynn Dudley. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

Whatever was bothering Berger at the end of the 1st half has gone away as she’s back out there for the 2nd. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

As the halftime whistle blows, a Heaps header is redirected by Kössler into Berger who makes the save, but comes up holding her elbow. Something to keep an eye on come the second half. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC

So many offsides by Kerr. She's got to time her runs better. #gothamfc #nwsl

3 minutes of stoppage time. #GothamFC #NWSL #DENvGFC
