#ForgottenIsland is fantastic. Should not be in cinemas & better suited to a streaming service.

Animation is brilliant. Script is very fast paced. Has a lot of humour (juvenile but not unnecessarily ridiculous). Music is modern & cool. Story is well done. All involved should be proud.

Yeah imMa shower 🚿 in a couple mins, so anyway imma see #ForgottenIsland soon, it will be #October2026, well already is for most of the world except me in a few hours!

@lance28.bsky.social and I just saw #ForgottenIsland, and HOO BOY the trailers did not do a good job of setting it up. They feel like they were advertising a whole different iteration, like an earlier draft. The film as it is now is so freaking GOOD though, it honestly feels undersold! Go see it!

Went to see #ForgottenIsland. It is super fun and hella colorful -- and goodness knows I love me an '80s and '90s soundtrack with a "Predator" clip thrown in -- but oh my GAWD the second act dragged SO MUCH. It makes the movie only a good/okay movie when it could have been GREAT.

#ForgottenIsland is the best animated motion picture in years. A beautiful ode to friendship, memories & anime with one of most inventive climaxes you see in modern cinema.

I've got a new favorite with #ForgottenIsland! Don't sleep on this because I absolutely needed more movies about the power of friendship and found family. #letterboxd #filmsky boxd.it/gzvhdB

The queer subtext wasn't lost on me either: Hooray for #tomboys onscreen. #ForgottenIsland is beautifully made and well-told coming of age story about two queer Filipina girls in love, although their paths may diverge, they'll always show up for each other. interaksyon.philstar.com/trends-spotl...

#ForgottenIsland was really good. Great animation and good story on the importance of memories and how they make us who we are. It sucks that it's having a rough release start due to subpar marketing, limited audience appeal, and economic concerns.

#ForgottenIsland is anything but forgettable. It has dazzling animation that beams with style. While the film can be overly quirky, its grounded in a heartwarming story that is satisfying and relatable. Not the best DreamWorks movie, but surely one of the more memorable ones.
