Would a more convincing win have been nice? Yes. Did we deserve one? Maybe. Were there gigantic signs of improvement (as there has been in every single game this season?) Yes.

Bear in mind we've still not seen Goretzka, Mbaye or Manzambi play so much as a minute yet! #AVFC #UTV

Impressive performance from the lads today, starting 11 and everyone that came on did their jobs. Still work to be done to get everyone up to speed but it already looks like things are slotting into place. #AVFC #UTV

Good win and important we got it over the line. Keep building. Brugge are awkward and very attacking so we’re never going to give up. Away wins anywhere are tough. What’s Japanese for “how’s your touch” 😅 #avfc #utv

9 shots on target - have we been saving them up? 🤣🤣🤣 #utv #avfc

Up the Villa! #utv

Really poor from the defence for both of their goals.

Poor marking for first. Slow to react to get to the ball for the second.

Crap memeing alert.

Well, that was fun 😅. Some lovely goals and moves. Feels like a pre season of both teams being a bit loose and scruffy. Problem scoring, what problem scoring #utv #avfc

Well that was better. We even scored a goal on the break. What is happening!? #AVFC #UTV

Fantastic 1st half for the Villa. John McGinn and João Gomes star standouts for me but all playing well.
