Autumn birding in the 10k circle is my favourite, and I indulged myself with a 6 hour, 11 mile trek up hill and across Moss. 87 species of birds including Cattle Egret, Hen Harrier, Wheatear, Swallow, Pink-footed Geese, Tree Sparrow and many more. #ukbirding #birds

A grey squirrel clings head-first to the side of a large tree trunk, peeking out toward the viewer.  The Squirrel: It features speckled grey fur with warm brownish tones around its face and paws, a pale underbelly, and a bushy tail arched up behind it. Its small claws grip the deeply furrowed bark tightly as it holds a downward stance.  The Tree: A large, thick trunk dominates the right side of the image, showcasing rugged, deeply grooved grey-brown bark.  Background: A bright green lawn fills the left side of the frame, softly out of focus to keep the emphasis on the squirrel.
