Has your time traveller ever been caught with an anachronistic object by locals in the visited time period?
My time travellers haven't (yet), but Charlotte "smuggles" anachronistic chocolate cake to her dad who is a permanent resident in the past.

For me it's "The Anubis Gates" by Tim Powers - the most exciting, imaginative time travel story ever written, in my opinion. Check it out.

I'm a big fan of Looper. The chronology makes zero sense, but they are bold enough to address that with a lovely back-and-forth by Bruce Willis! A lot of fun!

Continuing our trek backwards in time, Day 9’s excerpt came immediately after the fight, and the audiobook preview ends seconds prior to it.

I don't think Eddie has ever been in a fight before the one in BLUE SKIES, which means his first fight happens while he's about 10,000 feet above ground and falling fast.

Oh yes. Arthur Gore was a "gun guy" in the Royal Navy, not a Marine though. He worked with his father at the Ministry of Intelligence Internal Security and would go out spy catching. He was known for his accuracy. As an older man he was called out to play a target.

The worst one he's been is in book 4 of my series, The Spartan Sacrifice. He fights at the Battle of Thermopylae on the side of the Greeks against an overwhelming force of Persians.
@rammwriter.bsky.socialD11. Ha! When has he ever not been in a fight? He's sarcastic, argumentative and belligerent with a big chip on his shoulder, so go figure. He fights dirty, which doesn't always mean he wins as the kind of people he takes on fight equally dirty.
