"Coin Sword"
This talisman draws on feng shui in its form, as circulated coins absorb positive qi and ward against evil spirits. However, these coins are wrought iron (not copper), which according to European lore protects against fae. Maybe a hybrid approach of a Silk Road merchant? #swordtember

Pencil sketch. A coin sword, which is composed of rows of coins half overlapped and tied together through square holes. The "blade" is 18 coins long, the "crossguard" three wide on each side, plus two to make the guard thicker. The "grip" is five coins and the "pommel" three. The coins themselves are styled after Chinese cash coins, which are round, have a rim along the outside edge, and a square hole in the center.
