One thing I enjoy about #pf2e is that it doesn't rely on attrition for balance but you absolutely can do it.

And it's a sliding scale.

A mild crunch means "let's go a bit further before we stop to Treat Wounds".

A heavy crunch means "crap, pass me a potion before that next wave gets here!"

I just saw this take on a post and I can't walk by:

"you meanwhile need a lot of experience to even start designing a pf2e enemy due to just how precise you have to be about balance"

I feel this is exactly backwards. #PF2e 's tight math makes creature design safe and easy. Let me explain...

I understand that those are the things that sell in terms of merch, but plushie ads of any kind are just grody to me.

That's largely why I don't want @grassfinder.bsky.social to ever sell plushies or keychains or stickers.

If there's merch for the channel, it'd better be rule books.
