#OTD 12/10/1940 #RememberRCN -SS St. Malo ( ex-French freighter transferred to Canadian Government), torpedoed by U-101 in the mid-Atlantic, south of Iceland while in convoy HX-77, 29 killed. She was one of six merchant ships lost in the convoy.
