WIP on the Legendary Dragon. #minipainting #wargaming

I've had a hard time with a scheme or even lore for "my own guys" in BattleTech. Heres some examples of attempts. What would you pick?
Examples:
Highlander - mecha anime
Charger - punk pirate
Stalker - smooth starfield
Clint - black vulture

Quick trick to check your values: take a black-and-white photo of your model. If everything reads as the same gray, your highlights and shadows are sitting too close together. #minipainting #miniaturepainting

The dragon of Thebes from. Mythic battles pantheon. Fun fact, in the game this little spoots out some skelly Bois when he dies. Sadly they are not stop motion ones.

Finished this girl up in about 2 and a half hours. Tried some simple OSL in this speedpaint. Now time to have a beer before bed.

Her face really looks like a girl that I know, I don't know why.

Finished that fairy for a pendant, still haven't figured a way to get a good pic of her under the blacklights. Sucks because the contrast added by some neon green on the dress and the pink on the wings give a great affect😅

You know what a proper Sotek themed army of #lizardmen for #theoldworld needs? More skinks (+ sneks)!

This is the bulk of a battle march army I'm taking to an event later this year.

Very WIP, but wanted to experiment with using UV-cure resin over the top of faint stippling to better achieve the appearance of glass on plastic models. (Credit: a couple of hobby YouTubers)

I think the resin improves the look significantly.
