I'm not going to be on here much as it would have been my lovely wife's birthday today and it is the first time in 58 years she won't be at my side. I shall have a quiet glass in her memory with my son at the village pub.

My wife Janet turns to talk to our Smooth Fox Terrier Patsy as we make our way through tall Pines in woodland near our home in Surrey, close to the Kent border, four years ago. Both are now gone and so are many of those trees as it is managed woodland. Life moves on. Camera: iPhone XS.

A flashback for #WindmillWednesday and #ColorADay #RedWed to a trip we made in our campervan to the Netherlands in July 2013. My lovely wife walks towards the majestic mill at Schemerhorn, a working museum, carrying a red rucksack - one I still use to this day.

Two terracotta planters outside our terrace home in morning sun, containing orange and red Tulips. I plant bulbs in November to flower during Parkinson's Awareness Month in April as my lovely wife was a victim of this disease. She did not live to see this year's crop, so these were her last. A special memory.
