I enjoy seeing how textile artists on IG play with layers of fabric, so decided to try.
This is just scraps from prior projects quilted with a random pattern and cut away to show layers.
This could be so satisfying with some intentionality!

I know it's early for the holidays but I think I like this little ornament. Goal is to make about 50 for my mom to give out when she visits nursing homes with her senior choir in December (hence the early start). #Craftsky, any suggestions for hanging? I was thinking maybe gold embroidery thread.

The second exciting thing yesterday is that I made a pen!

Lee Valley let me use power tools I had never even seen before (drill press! lathe!) to transform a little piece of wood into a beautiful pen, and I love it!
