Quiet nights.
Plans for tomorrow.

But can you make peace
with someone still trying to kill you?

“Ukrainians and russians are brothers.”

No.

Brothers don’t agree on a “ceasefire”
And strike Kyiv the same night.

Brothers don’t terrorize you
And call it peace.

Ukraine knows exactly what russia is.

And we will never trust you.

I’m from Ukraine.

Not russian.
Not ever.

You call it a “ceasefire”
Then deliberately strike Kyiv.

So don’t ask Ukrainians for trust.
Expect resistance.

Today I’m smiling.

Not because everything is okay.

But because russia
still hasn’t taken
the most important thing from us:

Still living here.
