At specific points, yes, but it doesn’t weave throughout the narrative. My personal view is that having characters yearning is more effective when used sparingly, but no shade to stories where it’s more prevalent.

Not much, which I suppose is why the 'romantic' lands in front of the 'fantasy' when I'm asked to categorize my work: I like the thrill of the plot, the magic, the intrigue, the action. The headspace interludes. To much time inside hearts and I get tetchy

considering how I answered the last question... yes lol. Pretty much all my characters are lonely people who yearn for companionship, because I guess that's how I write romance I guess (I don't know how other people do it LOL)
