@thenvpshow.bsky.socialEnd of the 2nd Period:
4-2 Utah.
The Devils' defense is way too leaky. Too many mistakes on the backend, and unfortunately, Jake Allen isn't making some key saves.
The offense looks meh for the most part.
Something has to change, and change quickly.
@scoob1978.bsky.social2 goal lead. It's over.
#NJDevils
@freeirony.bsky.socialTurnovers turnovers turnovers turnovers.
Cant do that all night without putting yourself in a big hole.
And here we are. #NJDevils
@thenvpshow.bsky.socialCareless play by Siegenthaler leads to the Mammoth coming back the other way and eventually scoring
4-2 Utah
@alexcthw.bsky.socialThere are still way too many grenade launchers on defense. That started with an absolutely brutal pass from Jonas Siegenthaler in the OZ.

@nhlgoals.bsky.social@thenvpshow.bsky.social@alexcthw.bsky.socialHas not been a good start to the season for Brenden Dillon
@nhlgoals.bsky.social@freeirony.bsky.socialEvangelista looks to be the best addition of the off season. He seems to be exactly what that line needed.
If we can get the rop line rolling we should be pretty decent.
@clutch43.bsky.socialEvangalista AGAIN !! 🚨 2-2 #NJDevils
@thenvpshow.bsky.social🚨 DEVILS GOAL 🚨
It's Luke Evangelista again on a deflection in front. His second of the game, and we're tied again!
2-2
@alexcthw.bsky.socialLuke Evangelista, welcome to New Jersey
He redirects a Timo Meier shot to tie the game at 2-2.
@thenvpshow.bsky.socialPerhaps it's because of a shorter training camp/preseason.
Perhaps it's guys adjusting to one another.
Whatever the reason is, the Devils' offense is not there right now.
I saw too much of what I've seen the past few seasons with this team.
@nhlgoals.bsky.social
@allthedamnvamps.bsky.socialWell according to our coach, that should be game. I’m sure they’re “deflated” yet again. Too much to overcome for this weak ass team. #NJDevils
