React Context lets a component provide values to any of its descendant components, regardless of how deeply nested they are.
It helps avoid prop drilling when many components need access to the same data.

<select> Element in HTML vs. React
In HTML, you specify an initially selected <option> by adding the selected attribute to the desired <option>.
In React, a controlled <select> uses the value prop to specify its currently selected option. An uncontrolled <select> uses the defaultValue prop.

How Does React Implement an Uncontrolled Form Field?
By allowing the DOM to maintain the field’s current value instead of controlling it with React state.
To access uncontrolled form values, use tools like:
- useRef
- FormData
- action prop
- formAction prop

Types of Fields in React Forms
Form fields in React can be controlled or uncontrolled:
- Controlled: A form field whose current value is controlled by React, typically through state and a value prop
- Uncontrolled: A form field whose current value is maintained by the DOM rather than React
