🇨🇭 Ean Weiler is the first Swiss man to win Junior Grand Prix gold since Jamal Othman in 2004! #JGPFigure

Artur Smagulov (🇰🇿) finally got it 2gether but damaged was already done with all those errors.
He'll slip big time with 4 more to go.

Four falls in the free for Mehmet Cenkay Karliki (🇹🇷)... 😬.
1 of those falls... didn't really do anything.
Just a weird fall.
To me... those falls took me out of his free.
😔

Alexander Pliushchenko is still a very young boy and who knows what his future holds. But using Star Wars "I am your father," dark side and all, for his JGP debut season is genius. He should bring it back for the 2034 Olympics. #JGPFigure

What a free from Hayato Okazaki (🇯🇵)... 😍.
He'll storm into first place with 6 more to go.
Not sure if he'll medal but hope we see him in Junior Worlds come March 2027.

Makar Nikolaev (🇬🇪) shaking his head in disappointment after performing his free and who could blame him?
Falling on both triple axel attempts and messing up some jumps late could affect any1 even him.
#JGPFigure

Some free skate from Henry Gao (🇺🇲) who showed much promise despite some mistakes late in the program.
Still... good free, hope to see more of him in the near future.

Penultimate group now in Batumi.
Wonderful free from Aleksandr Pliushchenko (🇦🇿).
Much better than last week.
Then after him was Daniil Valanov (🇳🇴) who had perhaps the best free skate of his career.
Valance rolls in2 first with 9 to go in the Men's Free.
#JGPFigure

Nice free skate from Edward Solovyov (🇬🇧) that could've been a top program had it not been for some mistakes to begin the free and that fall early on.
Won't take the lead with his mistakes but I do love his selection of choice and his attire for the free.

Beautiful free from James Cha (🇨🇦) despite some mistakes early on to begin the free.
Loved the rendition of "Hallelujah" he used.
It was so beautiful.
What a free!!

Sorry for not posting for the last 30 minutes or so.
Phone was charging.
Anyway, just watched an amazing free skate from Deyan Mihaylov (🇧🇬).
Just beautiful music and beautiful flow in that 3:30 time limit.
Think he'll be taking the lead with more to come.
#JGPFigure

Didn't watch much but feel like like this was not the free Raul Garcia Shinbinsky (🇦🇩) wanted to end his #JGPFigure career but hopefully should qualify for the Free at Junior Worlds in March 2027, he'll be able to display that and much more.
