Besides reviewing code, I've been using SwiftFairy while building new features. Asking the agent to check SwiftFairy before working on Swift or SwiftUI code allows it to pull in relevant examples for the APIs it's about to use.

Snelle builds eisen slimmere keuzes. Met slimme CocoaPods-caching in Codemagic bespaart het iOS-team dagelijks 45 minuten wachten. Slim cashen, niet herhalen. #CI #iOSDev https://smartlinks.live/l/xV2Pmh

Just shipped TimeTails and updated ScaleDiary. Now working on something new. Started learning Swift back in 2021 and never looked back!

We've had many questions about how SwiftFairy, our new code review app for Swift and SwiftUI, compares to skills and fits into an agent workflow. I've written a post explaining how agents work with it and why it's more reliable:

When KMP meets iOS, design APIs for Swift callers—not only Kotlin authors. Naming, nullability, collection shapes, and async behavior all affect how “native” the shared code feels in Xcode. #iOSDev #KotlinMultiplatform #Swift

Control how SwiftUI presents toolbar items and tabs on iPhone Duo with the new iOS 27.1 APIs, from arranging custom labels to prioritizing actions when space is limited: nilcoalescing.com/blog/Configu...

I like screen time that leaves something behind. In Color This, kids aren't scrolling a feed — they're choosing colors, drawing, experimenting and turning one of 12 worlds into their own picture. 🎨

Symbol toolbar items move to the vertical toolbar by default on iPhone Duo, while text-only toolbar items stay in the horizontal toolbar. Explore to change this behavior using axisBehavior:

iPhone Duo moves navigation, toolbar and tab items into one vertical bar at the edge of the display.

A screen that is worse off can opt out: toolbarVerticalBehavior(.disabled) in SwiftUI, preferredVerticalBarBehavior returning .disabled in UIKit.

BrewUI is Homebrew’s official macOS GUI, built in SwiftUI, and I’m happy it exists for a simple reason: not everyone wants package management to start in Terminal.

I’ve been trying to turn our articles and books into skills, but agents struggle to navigate them and forget rules they just read. So we ended up building SwiftFairy to detect issues and attach guidance inline, so agents no longer need to recall it all.

Why the CarPlay artist list makes you pick a letter first instead of just listing every artist: CPListTemplate.maximumItemCount counts across every section combined, and if you go over it the list quietly drops the rest.

How do you use your AI models in coding?
When I start a new idea, I clarify the scope with Sol Medium. Then Astra High shapes the foundation, Sol High builds features and UI, and lighter models handle smaller edits.
I choose by the cost of getting a decision wrong.

Raviolo is in review at the App Store.

It is a kitchen companion for cooking, shopping and eating well, and it comes with a cast of AI assistants, each with one job and a character of its own, all running on Apple Intelligence. Let's meet them:

We've released a new developer tool! SwiftFairy is a native Mac app that reviews your AI agent's Swift and SwiftUI code locally on device and provides focused guidance and improvement suggestions.

Excited for you to try it out!
