"A quiet stretch of shoreline lies under soft, warm light, the kind that comes in the early morning or late afternoon. The water is calm enough to act like a mirror, rippling gently as it reflects the sky and the shapes of the birds moving above it. On the upper left of the scene, a ring‑billed gull stands on a pale sandbar. Its white body catches the light, making it glow against the smooth, simple background of sand. One leg is lifted slightly, giving the gull a poised, almost thoughtful stance, as if it’s pausing between steps. Its posture is upright and confident, the full silhouette clear and crisp. Closer to the viewer, in the lower right, a snowy egret bends deeply forward over a shallow tidal pool.
