Another set corner play almost sets up a second for Gotham. A back post cross finds Davidson who gets her right foot to it but it goes just over the crossbar. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

Outside of the goal conceded, it’s been a very good opening 20 minutes for Gotham who look much better than they did last week against Denver. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

AKB trips over Shaw unintentionally in the box, enabling the near Olimpico. Have it all to do again #GothamFC

Fluky goal off a set piece undoes all the early dominance, highly unfortunate #GothamFC

VAR check complete, goal stands. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

1-1. Louisville find an equalizer off of a corner kick of their own. Courtney Peterson’s corner kick hits the far post and bounces right to Kayla Fischer who finishes while basically standing on the goal line. VAR is having a look though. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

Fischer goal. 😑

Me after Guro Reiten scores her first goal for #GothamFC

Just all the space in the world for Guro on this goal. Every Louisville player but one were just ball watching in the box. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

FIRST #GOTHAMFC GOAL FOR GURO REITEN!!!!!

🇳🇴⚽️🚀🚀🚀

1-0 !!!!

1-0 to Gotham off of a long shot from Guro Reiten for her first NWSL goal. The play started with a short corner routine that resulted in Shaw finding Reiten in acres of space outside of the box and the Norwegian let rip to give Gotham the early lead. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

🇺🇸 #NWSL:

GUUUROOOOOOOOOOOZOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Guro Reiten with a thunderous strike to make it 1-0 for #GothamFC!!

An easy save from Bloomer there, but good to see Dudley be so direct and have the confidence to drive into the box and take the shot herself. #GothamFC #NWSL #LOUvGFC

I'm glad that Rose Lavelle is back in the starting eleven. I just hope that she stays healthy. 🌹🦇⚽️🙏🏿

Here’s tonight’s #GothamFC starting XI. Two changes from last week sees McCaskill come in for O’Sullivan and the return of Rose Lavelle after missing the last two games with a head injury. Her addition sees Bruninha come out with Shaw back out wide and Reiten back at LB. #GothamFC #NWSL
