After about 8 billion shot attempts, the Devils finally get one past Woll. Hamilton.

#Flyers

Some good news for the #Flyers is that Joseph Woll looks great. The bad news is that the defense isn't making it look easy for him. 20 saves in the first 30 minutes

The Flyers are doing a pretty good job of blocking shots and swiping away at pucks in the DZ, the problem is them being too casual about letting the Devils get there in the first place.

In the meantime, Evangelista goes to the box and the Flyers get their first proper power play.

#Flyers

And the second period has begun for Flyers vs Devils!

lol #Flyers radio commentator talking about the team “turning around and doing a 360 and blowing the doors off” baby that’s not how circles work #NHL #HNOM

#Flyers win their first period of the season. Baby steps.

After one, it's 1-0 Flyers.

Shots are 14-6 Devils.

Coots is going to the box for boarding so the Devils get ANOTHER power play.

#Flyers

That PK was actually pretty solid.

#Flyers

Is this the year I get a new #Flyers jersey? And will it be a Ristolainen jersey? Time will tell...

Net front Risto on a 6-on-5 delayed penalty and he tips it in. I think we may have a fix for the PP... #Flyers

The Devils will get a chance to even it up as Zegras goes to the box.

#Flyers

Rasmus Ristolainen gets the tip off a Sanheim shot to make it 1-0 Flyers on a delayed penalty.

#Flyers

Seeler just took a stinger blocking a shot on the PK.

#Flyers

Devils are going to the power play as Acciari goes to the box.

#Flyers

I would say so far the Flyers are letting the Devils skate up the middle a little too easily. That being said, Woll looks good so far.

#Flyers

And we have puck drop for Flyers vs Devils!
