So what's the verdict on the job Sue Bird did constructing this team? I am no expert, but it would seem it was risky to have so much inexperience, but now that they won and those players gained experience, they are gonna continue to be dangerous. What do you think? #fibawwc

Tina Charles, the woman you are... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 (CP, the shirt you're wearing... 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞)

Frankrig var foran med 14 point undervejs i finalen, men USA gør comeback og vinder med 18 point. Høj klasse! 🥇 #FIBAWWC

Feel bad for Gabby. People have been lording that Olympic win over her for two years and when she had a chance to avenge it she got in her own head. And her partner gave away key fouls that shifted the momentum of the game. Hopefully she grows from the experience. #fibawwc

"And that's it, Team USA wins the FIBA Women's World Cup Gold! France settles for Silver and that'll do it from Berlin. Up next on TNT, it's Rudy!" #FIBAWWC

Here come the patriotism trolls.

No real screaming and shouting and jubilation from the US at the buzzer. Happy, obviously, and part of it was the game had been over for a while. But still feels like as much relief as anything. Did what they were here for, got over the line. The streak continues. #FIBAWWC

And still.. USA vinder VM-finalen over Frankrig med 97-79 og kan fortsat kalde sig verdensmester 🏆🇺🇸 #FIBAWWC
