Today's #diecast is the Tooned Volkswagen Golf Mk1 (2026), this later generation Tooned debuted in 2022. Designed by Ryu Asada, it follows the "noppo" style established by the Manga Tuner.

While I appreciate the style, it does make cars a little samey. The OG Tooned were more distinct cars.

Did an exhaustive #diecast inventory of my. Out of a total of 1500 cars collected, about 200 are gifts for friends and family or giveaways for the Open. Another 80 completed customs for #Gaslands. And 300 vintage or special collections.

Leaving me with 150 builds pending and 650 in the motor pool.

Today's #diecast is the Tooned Twin Mill (2021 Tooned) debut release. This particular one is the Walmart ZAMAC exclusive. The current "noppo" style tooned began with the Manga Tuner in 2020. I want to add that to my collection. This style is different than the OG style and seems to be more popular.
