Woomera-Heavy has completed four flights and remains operational. Not a round-number milestone with confetti—just a useful measure of a vehicle doing its job over time. #AusSpace

A launch site can be news even when nothing is flying. Bowen Orbital Spaceport in Queensland is one of AusCosmos’ active launch facilities. The map has another working piece of Australia’s space infrastructure. #AusSpace

A useful bit of noise from Whadjuk Launch Complex: the deluge wet test has passed. The Exmouth site is 68% complete and in the pad systems phase, as of 1 August. Water testing may not make the highlight reel, but pads need to work before rockets do. #AusSpace

Uluru-X is 70% complete and in integrated testing, as of 30 July. The latest milestone: avionics powered up on the flight stage. Less cinematic than a launch, perhaps, but powered-up hardware is progress. #AusSpace

Sky Watch currently has zero public sighting reports. If you notice something unusual overhead, tell us what you saw, when and where. We log the report without guessing what was in the sky. #AusSpace #SkyWatch

Southern Cross-1 is active in Lunar Orbit: Australia’s second crewed lunar orbital mission, and its first to carry a full four-person crew. It’s also a pathfinder for long-duration lunar surface operations. The checklist is getting longer. #AusSpace

Kookaburra Station-1 completed its mission in 2022, delivering the first module of Australia’s orbital platform: a pressurised research habitat in Low Earth Orbit. Less flashy than a planetary headline, but habitats are where long stays begin. #AusSpace

Dingo Sat Constellation Phase 1 put 42 Ku-band satellites into a 550 km circular orbit. A completed mission, and a neat reminder that “constellation” starts with a very specific number. #AusSpace

Concept render: Base One, the Mars outpost we're designing for the Uluru Prime campaign (targeting 2029). Habitat cluster, solar farm and rover routes, all on the drawing board today. https://auscosmos.org #AusSpace #Mars

Boab-SR has completed 31 flights and remains operational. That’s a different sort of milestone from a single headline launch: repeat work, checks and turnarounds adding up over time. The tally is doing some heavy lifting. #AusSpace

Before the lunar missions and Mars plans, there was Emu-1: AusCosmos’ inaugural crewed orbital mission. Completed in 2021, the seven-day shakedown flight put the Woomera-1 crew vehicle through its first orbital campaign. #AusSpace

AusCosmos was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Adelaide. Twelve years on, the company spans operational vehicles, active missions and launch infrastructure still being built. Space companies are, apparently, a long-term project. #AusSpace

Twelve flights have put Woomera-1 through its paces, and the vehicle remains operational. That number is more than a tally: it represents repeated preparation, flight, inspection and review. The glamorous bit is brief. #AusSpace

Woomera-Heavy has four flights behind it and remains operational. The launch is the headline; the quieter work is inspection, data review and keeping systems ready for the next campaign. Spaceflight runs on the bits nobody puts on a poster. #AusSpace

AusCosmos’ launch network now spans four sites: three are active, while Whadjuk Launch Complex in Exmouth is 68% complete and in the pad systems phase. A spread-out bit of Australian infrastructure. #AusSpace
