#Rapids96 win. FSL losing at home 0-2 to NYC as well?!? You LOVE to see it!

Not pretty once again, but well done #Rapids96 to keep a 6th straight home clean sheet victory! Onward to a MASSIVE Wednesday semifinal. I will see you all there!

Fulltime! Colorado Rapids win 1-0!

For the first time in club history, Colorado Rapids have won six home games in a row with six clean sheets in a row! Another performance that could have been 2-0 or more. Good debut from Whittaker. #Rapids96

83' SUBSTITUTIONS #RAPIDS96

OFF: Rosenberry, Ojediran
ON: Thompson, Cobb

#COLvMTL

If the Rapids hold this lead and win 1-0

it'll be their 6th 1-0 win of the year

and their 5th since June 22. Out of 10 matches. It's just their thing.

#Rapids96

80' Big claim Nico Hansen!

#Rapids96

79' Montreal gets a soft call and a FK in a dangerous spot above the right corner of the box.

#Rapids96 need to score another goal because Montreal is bringing real fenty equalizer energy right now. #COLvMTL

Come on #Rapids96! Let's get a second goal and put this game away!

67' SUBSTITUTION #RAPIDS96

OFF: Atencio
ON: Frederick

A welcomed swap, as Atencio had been playing up in the ten role and was not exactly showing off the chemistry of someone that has known Morgan Whittaker for a week. #COLvMTL

60' Georgi Minoungou gets in behind. Defender catches up to him. He's had a better mentality tonight but gosh if he can't score that.

1-0 | #Rapids96

54' SUBSTITUTIONS (AND DEBUTS) #Rapids96

OFF: Yapi, Phillip
ON: WHITTAKER, ABU FARKHI

Morgan Whittaker & Sayed Abu Farkhi make that Burgundy Boy debuts, wearing #7 and #9 respectively.

Generations of Pids fans hinge on their success (slightly kidding). #COLvMTL

54' Sayed Abu Farkhi comes on wearing 'Sayed' on his back.

Morgan Whitaker checks in too.

Both getting their first minutes for the Colorado Rapids.

#Rapids96

53' Colorado Rapids subs: Morgan Whittaker and Sayed Abu Farkhi sub on to make their debuts. Darren Yapi and Donavan Phillip off.

1-0 | #Rapids96

HALFTIME: COL 1 | 0 MTL

Every stat and the scoreboard says #Rapids96 have been the better class team, but damn, has Montreal been chaotically dangerous and maximally entertaining.

The Canadiens play is a bit reminiscent of the raging and reckless Rapids of Matt Wells' early days.

#COLvMTL

Well it wasn't a great half, just one shot on goal before the PK, but the #Rapids96 find a way to take a one goal advantage into the half. They definitely grew into the game. Hope we can get a second early in the second half and put this game away, rather than leave the door open like in Austin.

42' GOAL #RAPIDS96

Paxten Aaronson as cool as you like from the spot. Sends Breza to his right and slots the ball side net to his left.

COL 1 | 0 MTL #COLvMTL

42' PENALTY AWARDED TO #RAPIDS96

Radojevic sweeps the ball and foot of Phillip in the box. #COLvMTL

43' Goal Rapids! Paxten Aaronson takes the penalty, bottom right corner. Well struck. Donavan Phillip draws the PK, well done. Unnecessary tackle by Radojević. Rapids ahead.

1-0 | #Rapids96

PAXTEN! LFG #RAPIDS96!!!

39' CHANCE #Rapids96

Minoungou cut down on the side by Ceballos. FK Rosenberry. Puts it right on Holding's head, who powers it right into the.... crossbar. OOF. Bad luck for the Englishman. #COLvMTL
