#PNEFC goalkeeper #AlanKelly makes a save for the camera at #Deepdale during the summer of 1962.

#pnefc Women were defeated today at Gigg Lane. 1st goal from Bury was a corner. Shultz was unlucky in the 2nd as the ball bounced off the post and the back of her head. 3rd goal was inexcusable when the defence failed to close down and the goalkeeper was caught on her near post. Needs improvement.

Happy with today’s win, but I think Blackburn have a right to feel sore after a thrilling derby day. Great to see Lang find the back of the net. Burgzorg wouldn’t let up and unlucky not to score himself. Iversen’s strong hands helped with both defence and attack. Lincoln is up next. #pnefc 🤍💙⚽️✊

Much needed result today. Good attacking goals, that have been coming, but pleased we finally managed to get them in the back of the net. They are beginning to look like they can play together as a team, it will take time, but is a good building block. #pnefc

Great game at Deepdale. Finally a win for #PNEFC cracking atmosphere 2 even teams #rovers maybe deserved a point but their shots were awful. Lang and Clarke were the stand outs. Offiah must start on Tuesday. #utw
