And then Ortiz the defensive weapon nearly throws the ball away but a nice stretch at first saves us.

If you told me the Miz was going to have a shaky outing but we were still holding the #dodgers to one run this late, not sure I would have believed you. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Regression is nice, tho. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Sadly, a graphic confirms, yes. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Did I hear themy say Ohtani is 4-for-6 against Ashby? #brewers #NLCS #postseason

That being said, if there was as little gravy as you get from Ortiz at your Thanksgiving dinner, folks would be complaining all night about how dry the turkey is. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Smoltz is right that the #brewers can't strike out this much throughout the series and expect to win consistently.

That said, you're going to have to expect Skubal and Yamamoto to get a few.

The side striking out out of the seventh-inning stretch, though, is not ideal. #NLCS #postseason

Mostly original logos on that graphics, which is kinda cool.

I say mostly because, well, they would have had to go with the #pilots logo for the #brewers to truly make it that, but, well, yeah, no need to rub it in further to the folks in Seattle.

#NLCS #postseason

I do like the #packers/#brewers #postseason win on the same day stat, though.

Feels like the kind of thing they could really endear themselves to the Brewers fans with by showing a graphics package and maybe some highlights from the last time. Someone cook that up quick. #NLCS

"I don't know how many would make that rare trip to come back for a playoff game."

Umm ... yeah, us Wisconsinites are a different breed, John. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

[eyeroll about #MLB evoking the most contrived moment in #bowling, if not sports, history] #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Is it just me, or is that a bad dye job for Joe Davis? #brewers #NLCS #postseason

"Go #brewers and F the #cubs."

Yes, even when playing the #dodgers.

#NLCS #postseason

That is an outstanding inning of work from Ashby. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Garrett Mitchell catches at the wall please me, though I do have to admit, one thing San Diego has on AmFam is the fans being right up against the wall out in center. But, hey, part of what you need to have structurally in a place like AmFam to have the roof. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

I don't think those camera angles do the 45 degrees justice.

It has to be pretty obvious for most umps to make a call like that. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

I like Contreras giving Ashby the point after the 0-2 miss. That's his way of saying, "Don't worry about it; that's the pitch I wanted you to throw." #brewers #NLCS #postseason

Great work with the Hank Aaron statue shot while talking about the award named after the man.

I mean, NBC and even CBS runs circles around Fox when it comes to sports production, don't get me wrong, but credit where due when they get it right. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

I almost thought Contreras was going to run the gauntlet on that check swing by Tucker — first a check on the check swing, then a challenge. He didn't, though.

I get the impression Murph may have gotten in his ear about those challenges. #brewers #NLCS #postseason

I can't imagine a baseball hitting the underside of your thigh is a comfortable feeling for a home plate umpire.

I mean, not the worst place you can get hit, but not a great one, either. #brewers #NLCS #postseason
