It's probably obvious, but I hadn't known that the landscaped median of Park Avenue in #Manhattan was the site of an 1800s railroad. I think some of it still there - but now underground up as far as 125th st.

This pic from 1893 shows it as it was back then... #NYC

Epiphany is a 14 year old neutered male white and brown tabby kitty with yellow eyes, a distinctive brown patch on his nose and white whiskers. He is a senior stray cat found abandoned with stage 2 kidney disease, upper respiratory tract infection, a heart murmur, mild ataxia, and suspected blindness. Lucee is an 11 year old spayed female white and black "Cow" kitty with yellow eyes, a pink nose and white whiskers. She is standing half way out of the round opening of her kennel with just her front two legs and upper body showing. She is facing and looking at the camera. She is located at Manhattan NYC ACC. *Lucee is on the At Risk list due to behavior. She is not thriving in the care center and continues to display challenging behavior during interactions. She is extremely intelligent and high energy, and needs to expend energy constructively with interactive play sessions 3-4X/day. Without providing activity for her mind and body, the cat may react with rough play, potentially resulting in bite/scratch incidents. It is in her best interest to move out of the kennel environment and into a stable home as quickly as possible. She would do best in a home with adopters who are willing to give her plenty of time and space to adjust, and who have experience with feline body language, overstimulation, rough play, and who have the time to invest in managing these behaviors on a consistent basis to avoid bite/scratch incidents. *Best In An Adult Only, Experienced Cat Parent Home
