Excerpt from SmokeWIP, a sage Owen romance novel wip. Text as follows: A deep, drunken thrill, wondering how Cory liked to fuck. He could find out for himself. He could ask for the entire menu, take whatever Cory gave him and still be better off than he was. He caught Cory at the ballroom's exit as people were beginning to drift out, and received an infuriating wink and little jerk of the head. He pointedly waited, searched about for his other friends. Jaden was missing too, so he couldn't go back to their room and leave again without having to explain himself if he beat him there. To introduce distance between their exits-not that getting felt up in an elevator didn't sound so hot, but it was too risky—he doubled back to the bar to drop another tip in the bartender's jar, lingered at his sister's shoulder long enough to say goodnight and that he'd see her back at the house tomorrow some time. Then, heart hammering with excitement and the sick adrenaline of secrecy, he went to the elevator.

Feeling really good, health-wise though. Sleeping great, exercising a bit more, and eating a bit better. Feel a lot more awake and alert than I have been.
