Mixed opinions n lectures i have about the ending/epilogue

Voy a intentar ordenar mis pensamientos sobre el final/epílogo en los siguientes posts, siento si queda todo un poco desordenado y confuso 🙏

okay i'll be real, i feel disappointed by Goodbye, Lara LOL.
I think it really suffered for being a 12 episode show. I think I kinda stopped liking it as much when Luca entered(and I love that nerd). But the finale was... mm.

Never would I have ever expected to see in 2026 an #anime adaptation of “The Little Mermaid,” but here we are, and it was brilliant. Love the classic 70’s art style, beautifully executed story, and characters you could care for #GoodbyeLara #SayonaraLara

Yes at first the epilogue might come off as abrupt and confusing, we're left guessing about Lara's motivations, her eyes are almost always hidden, it's slightly ominous & we don't know what she's thinking BUT🧵⤵️

Beautiful time with a bittersweet ending but I absolutely loved Mari and Lara's relationship, the love profession was just gorgeous and the whole scene with Lara returning the light was done so well. Curious about Lara's trip but overall a satisfying conclusion

Honestly, Lara overall is even more relatable and like me over the years than I thought or cared to accept until it was over. Even if it made me cry for a bit, reflecting on my life and feelings, it's beautiful to see in a show. #goodbyelara

Honestly, I really loved #GoodbyeLara, it reminds me how I felt after I Saw the TV Glow, in that I was initially frustrated and unsatisfied with aspects of it, but the more I think about it, the more I think its use of symbolism, characterization and references to source material are genius.
