A classic Cumberland County Council signpost in Little Salkeld with additional Druid-based directions for seekers of the old ways. #FingerpostFriday

A colour photo of a black and white striped fingerpost with four directional pointers including one pointing wise seekers of the old truths to a Druids circle. Signpost is in front of green grass and a hedge with blue sky and white clouds on the horizon.

A black metal post with two directional signs pointing to the 'Historic Centre & Shopping' and the 'Tourist Information Centre' and the bike confirms that it's Cambridge!
#FingerpostFriday

A black metal post with two directional signs at the top pointing to the right. The top sign says '3 mins Historic Centre & Shopping' and the lower says '5 mins Tourist Information Centre'. There are a selection of stickers on the post. There is a bike leant against the post and the wall behind is red and brown brick with a small window at the top right. There is a grey pavement in the foreground.

Our four-armed finger post in Brunstane Mill Park, #Portobello, Edinburgh recently fell over. Thanks to the kind person who let us know, and even bigger thanks to volunteers Orla and Rod who reinstalled the sign promptly. ☺️

Signpost at a grassy park path junction pointing to Newhailes and Brunstane Burn Path, set against trees and a blue sky, with a spade and other tools on the grass below. There's soil on the ground at the base of the signpost, suggesting that it has been newly replaced. Volunteer smiling beside a fallen directional signpost and tools on dry grass in a park, with a paved path and trees in the background.A volunteer attaching a ScotWays sticker to a signpost directing walkers to Milton Road East and Brunstane Burn Path beside a grassy trail.Trail splitting into two paved paths at the Brunstane Mill Park entrance, with an information board and direction signs, a wheelbarrow with supplies at the right, surrounded by tall trees and a dramatic cloudy sky.
