The shadows spin
with heavy breath
and icy hands.
They pull me in
as music plays.
They do not lead
with claws or teeth,
but with familiar faces
of soft regrets kept
locked beneath.
We turn and dip,
we rise and fall,
the downy crowd
in this phantom… ↓ ↓ ↓
