Good thing SoFi Stadium in LA has a roof. Remnant rain/wind from Tropical Storm Rachel will be moving through LA this weekend, which might've made Sunday's Broncos game a windy/showery one without the roof.

Rainy, windy weekend ahead for the San Juans, Western Slope and generally from Aspen/Gunnison/Alamosa on west. Localized 1-2"+ rain totals, 30-40+ mph winds.
Indoor kind of weekend out west, and will probably take down lots of fall foliage as well.
Looks increasingly likely that the mountains will (finally) get a few inches of snow down to pass level mid-next week.
Very late for a first snow of this kind...but we'll take it.
Denver hit 80° for the 8th-straight day today, the 2nd-longest streak of October 80° days on record.
Only one longer: 1963, 10 days. That'll probably fall on Monday.
Headlines for next week: big cooldown for Denver, first notable mountain snow possible, Denver rain showers, maybe mixing with flakes in/near town.
Most importantly: Augtober finally ends
Rachel could be the 1st tropical cyclone to make a direct landfall in California in 87 years this weekend, though odds favor the Baja (85%) rather than SoCal (15%).
Biggest impacts will be heavy rain in arid portions of CA/AZ/UT/NV. Eastern CO remains bone dry with Rachel too far west. #COWx
Spotted a rare October dust devil on Thursday as temperatures soared into the mid 80s under sunny skies. #cowx #summerInOctober
Sunrise over the Colorado sky this morning. #COwx
Last night over the Colorado sky. #COwx
🌡️ Near-record heat again: Highs in the mid-to-upper 80s in Denver again today, right near the daily record of 87° (1910). Mainly sunny, but a bit breezier, with 15-25 mph gusts this afternoon.
🌤️ A touch cooler (low 80s) this weekend before a bigger cooldown next week.
