Griselda was a homeless mom. Metro Cat Rescue brought her inside so the babies could be born in a safe place.

In 2021, Griselda had to have emergency surgery.

In case you're wondering, it's 6 kittens: one calico, one gray, and four orange. They don't like us yet, but I'm confident that won't last. Mama cat has quite the death glare, I must say. I'm amazed that I survived.

One of the kittens evaded capture until today, but we found him hiding in the neighbor's trash can, which was on its side. My husband lifted the can, put the lid on it, and the last kitten was reunited with mama.
