Seems layoffs over at #bungie hurt it quite a bit #marathon update for August/September now is coming in December. Season 3 and moving away from seasonal model, with an update planned in march. My guess is poor management mixed with player numbers means hard to justify. Doesn't look good.

Bungie just pushed Marathon’s planned September content to the December 8 Symbiosis update and is moving away from a strict seasonal schedule.

That’s a big shift. Do you think this gives Marathon room to recover, or is it arriving too late?

Bungie just delayed Marathon permanent PvE mode and the whole Symbiosis update to December, and is axing strict seasons for good.

🚨 Bungie cambia de rumbo con Marathon.

La gran actualización se retrasa, la progresión y la economía serán reiniciadas y el PvE permanente pasa a ser una prioridad.

¿Una simple reorganización o una operación para salvar el juego?

Play more Destiny. I don't think some people who claim to love Destiny understand how important it is to login and show up. You don't have to play for hours, you can just log in and run a solo thing.

Bungie just bet the studio's future on one seasonal update: Marathon's September pivot to PvE is either a comeback or the beginning of the end.
