Two things can be true in assessing #Boro's start to the season. The positives can be acknowledged but so too the issues that need to be addressed and improved.

🏠Kim Hellberg: 'My mum watching the game at home says we need to concede fewer goals...'

❓So how does Hellberg ensure #Boro tighten up?

🗣️'We need to understand game management & how we suffer through periods in a better way'

Malanda has to play in defence for me. I'm not one of those with the opinion he is bad in midfield BUT I think we need him just concentrating on defence. We have plenty of goal threats now, lets make ourselves a bit more solid as well.
Great start to the season though.

Kim Hellberg's verdict:

🤝 'It's very difficult to win here' - will 'take the draw'
🥅 On goals conceded: felt #Boro weren't 'clever' enough - on and off the ball
🔝 'The players have produced a very good start to the season'

No one can say 1 loss in 8 games is a bad start. In fact we're in an excellent position with huge potential.

But our game management has been poor almost every match.

Probably the first time I'm actually happy to see the early international break so Kim can do his thing.

First time I've heard Hellberg blame players not himself and says he was furious with both goals. Not wrong like. #Boro #UTB.

Cozier-Dubbery the standout again. Strange afternoon for the man who ended up rescuing a point

Unbeaten in six, one defeat in eight & another late goal but #Boro got away with one there. Three weeks now to work on the issues that were evident & costly in second half and have been through early weeks of season: defending, game-management & consistency from one half to next.

Another second-half collapse from #Boro, but one thing is at least true of them as Malanda rescues a late point

Can’t stand international breaks. But hope we use this one to organise our defence properly. Can’t be taking this every week. #utb #boro

We do make this football thing quite hard. Need to get some basics right in defence. But - not a loss so on we go #boro

Another game where we only put in a shift for 45 minutes. Great not to lose it, but let's get a full 90 performance sooner than later.
