Guys… I found Vastion’s playlist and be still his little emo pop punk heart because he’s down bad for Esiree and the only way to express his feelings is through melodramatic bangers! #emo #poppunk #booksky #viralbooks #vampiresbooks

Her skin was the color of dusk, a delicate periwinkle that accented her devasting beauty. Her hair was a mane of marine blue and purple, draped with silver. In the platinum world of the North Wind, she was as stunning as a midnight sky.

It’s always a pleasure to return to one of Seanan McGuire’s fictional worlds. I enjoyed A Divided Duty, the latest October Daye novel. The story had a good pace and wasn’t heavily baby-centric, which to me was a good thing. 💙📚🪐 #books #BookSky #SFF #fantasy

Curse of Infinity Tower ☠️ / Dark Fantasy WIP
Writers: Do you find titles or openings to be difficult? While I do have a hard time with openings, titles often come naturally to me. I'd love to hear about your drafts.

In a time after man, there exists magic beyond control. All creatures, abominations, half-blooded humans, animals and creations found themselves tied together by the soul, separate from wizards who played with mortality. Laughing old men and women immortal lived in their perfectly curated and isolated places, bending all of the world's forces to their will to have their prolonged existences perfect and beautiful and endless.

They were not gods, but they certainly lived in imitation of them. And there were practically no consequences. When a wizard needed to dispose of a mortal being for one reason or another, all he had to do was seal its soul within a doll and be rid of it.

Thus began the use of the Infinity Towers.

“Daddy thinks history starts fresh every day, every minute, that time itself begins with the feelings he’s having right now. That’s how he keeps betraying us, why he roars at us with such conviction.”

'Unusual activity.' It was you, buying coffee somewhere new. Now you're locked out of your own money until a machine agrees you're the person it's been watching all along.

FRICTION, a thriller about being watched but not believed.
