Ok, he just gave a yellow to Muller, correctly. But did he give a yellow to the Dash player for the delayed foul on Nijstad?

He should have.

I kinda don’t care the Turner was offside. Neilsen whiffed on the ball entirely and got lucky she didn’t destroy Turner’s legs with that slide. A card is warranted. #BAONPDX

I understand that he called that back to the first foul, but the late reckless tackle on Turner still happened and should’ve seen discipline. This is gonna get incredibly chippy now (and already has) #baonpdx

76' Marie Müller was shown a yellow. #BAONPDX

73' Oh, man... this doesn't look good for Portland. Opportunities keep piling and Houston can knock them out of the park. #BAONPDX

The chances are there but you gotta finish them #BAONPDX

(1) I wish Reyna would have just ripped that when she cut inside near the top of the box.

(2) I hope the Thorns go get another left-footed left back to either challenge MA as starter or to spot/sub for her, because I just don't think have right-footed backs when Caiya's on the left.

#BAONPDX

Would like to a little rotation, just a little, between Smith and Turner at the 9 and winger just to add a little height in the middle. #BAONPDX

Reyna Reyes playing on the left side gives me anxiety 🥲 #BAONPDX

How many times tonight has a loose touch killed a promising Thorns attack? #BAONPDX

59' Substitutions:

M.A. Vignola and Morgan Weaver OUT
Marie Müller and Reilyn Turner IN

#BAONPDX

55' C'MON PORTLAND, YOU GOTTA TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THOSE GIVEAWAYS! #BAONPDX

51' Weird not to see Nijstad more on the right. I believe she makes a bigger impact over there. #BAONPDX

The Thorns have come out in the second half with more offensive dynamism. The chances have just fallen to the two players working to shake off rust.

But this is encouraging.

#BAONPDX

50' Great cross by Nina, Weaver can't get her first touch right. #BAONPDX

46' BRUH. Caiya Hanks had THE chance after a great pass from Tordin. She shot wide. #BAONPDX

Oh may, Caiya. You owe Tordin an apology. That passed needed a finish.

#BAONPDX

Absolutely gorgeous move. Hanks is going to want that one back #BAONPDX

46' Second half is underway! #BAONPDX

FINALLY the corgis return. Plus a tall impostor #baonpdx
