Jax Muttson - known strictly as "J.M." - proudly claims the title of the village’s greatest showdog. Instantly recognizable by his sky-blue coat, tan tummy, navy-blue ears, and sharp emerald bowtie, he treats the city skyline as his personal center ring. J.M.’s signature specialty is riding high above the rooftops atop a massive green balloon, where he dazzlingly juggles smaller balloons and executes high-altitude balancing acts. Thanks to toon logic, the dizzying drop doesn't phase him in the slightest. His aerial footing is unmatched - right up until the inevitable cartoon slip, sending him flopping belly-first (or butt-first) into a cascade of squeaky, buoyant bounces across his round perch. Down on the ground, J.M. is the positive-thinking "hype dog" of the AnimaLooners crew, forever eager to inflate into a bouncy sphere or lead the charge on local bouncy castles. While he claims his sky-high theatrics are purely for the art of show business, locals notice his stunts reach peak bravado whenever a certain grand, pink-toned performer with rubbery tusks happens to be in the audience. He would never say a word, but his best routines are clearly staged just to catch her eye. Like many in his inflatable-obsessed village, J.M. is wildly gung-ho about anything oversized, rubbery, and buoyant. From testing bouncy castle limits to leading sky-high parades, he brings an infectious enthusiasm that keeps the entire town looking up. His anatomy is built for this brand of buoyant slapstick. Sporting a soft sky-blue coat, a cream belly, and a signature navy-blue right outer ear, his floppy spaniel-style ears flap like wings whenever he catches an updraft. J.M. is always ready to stretch cartoon physics to their limits, whether he’s expanding into a squeaky sphere to cushion a sudden fall or landing a sheepish, knowing shrug for his adoring crowd below.
