Damián is angry, is grieving his best friend (who he was in love with) who "got pulled out of school" at the end of last year but he doesn't think that's true. If Ely left school, why hasn't anyone heard from them? And why does the SCHOOL want people to think they simply left? #FirstDraftFall

I don't think either of them are happy at the beginning. Auri is excited at the beginning- she just ran away and she's doing the entrance trials! But she's frustrated that her family doesn't understand or support her dreams and her mom won't even tell her why, just shuts her down. #FirstDraftFall

#FirstDraftFall Arthur is actually *very* content with his life. He has a job he enjoys, a home he feels comfortable in, even a partner. A lot of the story isn't so much about his journey as it is his inability to stop sticking his antennae into other people's business.

The MC is a woman born in Mexico & raised in the US, recently deported by her ICE-husband, now spending her days working at her tía's store & nights walking the river bank venting her rage & searching for peace.

#firstdraftfall a series! I plan to go through the first 4 books taking the original and splicing it with my own pieces, then in book 5 have it all be original as the wrap up. I intend to write other books inbetween instead of a straight shot. i'm an underwriter though so we'll see what happens

#firstdraftfall when i can't figure out how someone without a dissociative disorder would react, when my characters are flat or weird, and just trying to keep some details going can be hard like i might start to forget how a character talks

#firstdraftfall I chose it because my other wip seemed to be too run through for me to use it in this and my next one is a lot of fun (plus i'm honestly wary of how many others are working on nancy drew things already due to the release) and it seemed like good timing

#firstdraftfall There's two timelines so whether i start with one or the other (going back and forth) it depends! in March of 1930 Nancy is in River Heights, IA but in December of 1941 Navy is in living in St. Paul, MN
