Not just for the police dealing with them.
Not just for the victims.
And not just for taxpayers.

Fine.
But children also need boundaries, consequences and adults who actually take responsibility for them.
A justice system that only deals with the child after the damage is done is missing part of the problem.

Parenting Orders already exist.
The problem is that they’re barely being used.
If a court tells a parent they need to take action to help stop their child offending, ignoring it shouldn’t just result in a shrug.

The Government is looking at stronger consequences for parents who deliberately refuse to comply with court-ordered parenting interventions.
